Olly Has an Application!

Looks like our new little buddy has already generated some interest! To Olly's potentional family- he really is a great little guys! Feel free to post us any questions! Olly seems to be coming to terms with his crate. Last night before bed he only let out a few cries before falling sound asleep. After his initial few minutes of whinning- we never hear another peep from him over night. This morning when we put him in his kennel before we left for work- same deal- he cried for about 30 seconds and then silence. We'll have to talk to our upstairs tenants tonight to see if he made any noise through the day. Still no accidents in the house- which is just great! He knows "sit" now and is working on "lay down." He seems to be very smart and I think the fact that he is SO egar to please will make him really easy to train. He's a toy "herder" too, which I think is cute. He will take every toy he can find and just pile them all up on his dog bed. He loves playing with them too- he's always got a toy in his mouth and he's actually very gentle with them for being such a young guy. Does he ever just loves his people! If you sit on the floor he will just curl up on your lap and give you kisses as long as you'll let him. I think Olly wants nothing more than a family he can call his own- forever! He will be the most loyal, loving dog any one could ever ask for!

  1. Thank you so much for posting! I have submitted an application for Olly, and am so anxious to hear back. Hopefully we are the potential family you mention.

My husband and I have a 2 year old Airedale (also named Ollie!)) who is so excited to have a friend. We have been looking for the perfect addition to our home, Olly seems to be everything we've been waiting for.

We also have 2 small cats, who have adjusted pretty well to life with a dog. How do you think Olly will be with cats?

Again, thank you for your posts! We hope to hear more soon.

  2. Its tough to say how Olly might do with cats. However, he seems to be the type of dog that goes flow and can adapt to different situations. He likes playing with foster brother and they play nice together. If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks
